We recently brought them in after we designed a project, in sourcing a few of the materials there were some long lead times, A&R was able to provide us with comparable substitutions that kept the client on budget and on schedule. Anderson & Rodgers Construction came highly recommended to me from a friend who had previously contracted with them on a home project. Although they were not the low bid, I selected them for the construction of my garage/shop building and have no regrets in doing so. I found them to be very professional, but at the same time easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. Although my building is completed I continue to receive calls and texts checking on how things are going. Although my construction plans were very good they made some recommendations and adjustments along the way that improved the quality and appearance of my building. The change order process was simple and almost immediately it would be posted on their website. From beginning to end photos were posted on the website as well as the contract agreement, change orders, payment draws, etc, which is password protected. I highly recommend them to others, especially for larger projects that requires top quality construction and good onsite inspections and as noted above advice for improving your plans.

We work in the real estate industry and know a lot of fabulous contractors in this area, but when we decided to renovate our garage into a carriage house for guests, we went with Anderson & Rodgers. Teddy Rodgers spearheaded the project and used top-quality subcontractors who were fast and efficient, while providing quality work. We can't say enough positive things about Anderson & Rodgers. Teddy answered the phone when we called, he delivered when he said he would and the final product is amazing. We are so happy with his work and would recommend him time and again to our friends and clients.

Based on the excellent reviews I saw and recommendations from horse people about this firm’s equine construction division, I met with their initial project manager on Oct. 10, 2025 to get an initial free estimate for building our new horse stable, the first phase of a multi building project. I provided them with a draftsman created blueprint for 7 stall, wash stall, tack room, rest room, laundry, run-in overhang etc. I thought it was a good meeting and was told that because they were so busy that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get an initial free estimate as a prelude to a more formal commitment. After about 2 1/2 weeks, I called to ask about progress. I received a rather brusque call back from the project manager stating that he had told me 3 to 4 weeks (not so, I wrote his initial timeline estimate down because I was hoping to get other estimates). I am very disappointed that it is now 7 1/2 weeks out and I have heard nothing at all from them. I noted a review where the folks said they were treated well even for a small job. Well, they have passed up an opportunity to build a stable, main custom house, guest house, and indoor arena, all part of an extended plan. Why would anyone want to hire contractors who treat potential customers this way right from the start? My experience with these folks is not the same as what I have seen in other reviews, but that is okay since I will gladly go elsewhere where I can be treated with some professional courtesy. After leaving a one-star review to which Anderson and Rodgers politely responded, I wish to amend my review. The company’s president, Teddy Rodgers, reached out to me and promised to ameliorate the situation—which he has admirably done. He explained how a critical employee’s marriage and honeymoon got in the way of my project’s followup as well as how another person’s transference impacted their usual handling of work.
